You could go with this, or you could go with that...
Does anyone out there in LJ land have or know anything about the current model iMacs?
My home computer just took a shit, for the 4th time and I'm ready to wipe it, sell it and get a new one. (and also smack it up, flip it, rub it down - oh no!) I was pricing stuff on the Apple site and realized the exact package I'd get in a Mac Pro desktop for $3900 I could get in an iMac for $2400 plus it would be slightly faster and have a larger monitor.
I guess when I hear the word iMac I still think of those late 90's jewel toned suck boxes and that's what scares me.
Thoughts?
